Prince Andrew has renounced his military titles and sponsorships of associations, Buckingham Palace announced Thursday, January 13, the day after the refusal of American justice to file the civil complaint which accuses the prince of sexual assault.

With the Queen's consent and approval, the Duke of York's military affiliations and royal patronages have been returned to the Queen.
The Duke of York will continue not to hold public office and is defending himself in this matter as a private citizen,
