Now Otmar Spirk, a Regensburg lawyer, has died - of Corona.

Regensburg - He died in the early morning hours of January 7th at the age of 67, according to his blog.

It was previously announced there that Otmar Spirk had "had Covid-19 * for a week and is in bed".

At the end of December he called for a demonstration in the Regensburger Arcaden on January 1st and at the same time sent a "greeting from the intensive care unit": "Those who spend their life on their knees have none.

Regensburg conspiracy theorist dies of corona - Otmar Spirk railed against measures 

The attorney based in Pentling had established himself in the Regensburg * area as an opponent of the state measures against the corona pandemic and called for rallies and demos online.

He publicly railed against the “corona politics madness” and wrote about himself that he was a “conspiracy theorist”.

Pictures on his blog show him again and again at demos, on one photo he is wearing a mask with the inscription "Viva Coronoia".

He regularly shared photos of demonstrations and so-called "walks".

For example, from signs on which slogans such as “No compulsory vaccination, end of compulsory testing, hands off our children” or “Human family united against a permanent subscription to genetic manipulation” can be read. 

Regensburg's corona denier did not want to admit the disease 

Until recently, Otmar Spirk did not want to admit that he could die of Corona, reports 

 from the deceased's immediate environment.

In an obituary on his blog it says: "We are losing a person in him who has helped many as a lawyer and career supervisor to their rights." Spirk campaigned for refugees and Hartz IV recipients in a clinch with landlords or the job center.

, he is described as "amiable in tone" and "as a lawyer correct and persistent in the matter".

As a lawyer, he also represented representatives from the lateral thinker scene on several occasions, such as the former teacher and book author Verena Brunschweiger, whose husband Jörg speaks regularly at rallies.
