Second division leader St. Pauli extended with Schultz

Second division leader FC St. Pauli Hamburg has extended the contract with head coach Timo Schultz.
The 44-year-old former professional has been the coach of the Hamburg football club since July 2020.
The club did not provide any information about the term of the new contract in a statement on Thursday.
"We want to consistently pursue the path we have chosen with Timo, so I am pleased that we now have clarity about our joint cooperation beyond the season," said sports director Andreas Bornemann.
Hamburg - “It's no secret that I feel good at FC St. Pauli.
I got a great opportunity here 1.5 years ago and now I am ready to take the next step in development together with the club, ”explained Schultz, who has worked in various functions at the Kiez Club for 16 years.
St. Pauli welcomes FC Erzgebirge Aue on Saturday (1.30 p.m. / Sky) to kick off the rest of the second half of the season.
