The branch of the General Organization for Seed Multiplication in As-Suwayda sold 1,487 tons of sterilized and sifted wheat seeds to farmers, with the aim of implementing the agricultural plan for the current season.
The director of the Foundation’s branch, Engineer Solaf Al-Saad, explained to SANA reporter that the quantities sold are of the Sham 3 and Douma 1 brands, and they were sold directly from the branch’s warehouses and through agricultural banks in the cities of Shahba, Salkhad and Al-Quraya, at a price of 1585 Syrian pounds per kilogram.
She noted the availability of good quantities of wheat seeds and the continuation of sales operations in the coming days, calling on those wishing to purchase to bring the agricultural organization document issued by the extension units and a copy of the personal card.
And the branch of the General Organization for Seed Multiplication in Suwayda began, last September, operations of sifting and sterilizing wheat seed to secure the needs of the agricultural plan, as the sifted quantities reached 1573 tons.
