SPD parliamentary group leader Andreas Stoch considers the rejection of the FDP parliamentary group in Baden-Württemberg to a general vaccination requirement against the coronavirus as a "wrong political determination".
He had the impression that the clear stance of the liberal MPs in the state parliament did not reflect the opinion of the entire federal FDP, said opposition leader Stoch on Thursday in Stuttgart.
Stuttgart - That is why he does not assume that the position of the FDP parliamentary group will play a major role in the decision in the Bundestag.
The FDP parliamentary group had previously spoken out unanimously against a general vaccination requirement.
The decision is to be made in the Bundestag in a free vote without group discipline.
Parts of the FDP in the Bundestag are also against the compulsory vaccination.
The SPD and FDP form a traffic light government with the Greens in the federal government.
