Damascus - Sana

Poetry was dissipated and warmed by the poetic evening held by the Cultural Center in Abu Rumaneh today, in which the poet Bilal Ahmed signed his second poetry publication, the second book of the Genesis of Love.

This Diwan issued by Dar Baal comes as an extension of the first edition of Ahmad Diwan Al Hawa Al Sharqi in the marriage between the classical school and the contemporary concerns of the homeland, society and man.

Ahmed, who read during the evening a group of poems from his new collection, explained in a statement to SANA that the title is a reference to the Book of Genesis in the sacred books that narrated the emergence of things, creatures and the whole universe, but his collection tells how that great value was formed in human hearts, which is love.

The poet Ahmed indicated that the cover that came by the plastic artist Dr. Fatima Esber intersects with the title of the Diwan in ideas and colors and that poetics is present in other arts such as painting, music and sculpture.

The poet Suleiman Al-Salman pointed out in his intervention that the homeland of the poet Ahmed financed him with love in the image of the holy crucified, linking the cities of Damascus and Jerusalem in the reality of bitterness and sanctification, considering that the poet portrayed reality and the suffering of society and remained committed to the issues of the homeland.

In turn, the media figure, Faten Daaboul, found that the Diwan was full of sadness and sorrow, and rejected the feeling of defeat and images of love and love, in an attempt to cross the geography of the soul with a different sense, as if the disaster that had befallen the place had befallen his soul as well, pointing out that the poems of the group took the classic form of poetry, yet carried all the data of modernity.

The evening was moderated by the poet Muhammad Khaled Al-Khidr, who saw that the poems of the forty group contain all the components of the brilliant and beautiful Arabic poem by following the weight without losing sight of the meaning.
