According to the state government, schools and day-care centers should remain open as long as possible in the further course of the pandemic.
Face-to-face teaching has the highest priority in the NRW coalition, said Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst (CDU) on Thursday at the state press conference in Düsseldorf.
Wüst pointed out that children had suffered particularly from the pandemic - not only through missed lessons, but also through reduced social contacts.
Düsseldorf - That is why it is important to offer children and young people as much normality as possible.
That should also be done as safely as possible, said Wüst with reference to masks and tests.
