Buying a new bike, especially electric, in a store, is often an obstacle course.
Between 2019 and 2021, annual sales in France of electric bicycles doubled, from around 400,000 to 800,000 units.
If we add the sales of scooters (around 700,000 units), last year 1.5 million of these two means of transport were sold, slightly less than the sales of new cars in France. (1.66 million according to figures published on January 1 by the automotive platform PFA)!
