"Hubert without Staller" celebrates an anniversary: surprises in the ARD cult series - the Bavarian star gets out

Tenth season: "Hubert without Staller", the ARD hit series from Wolfratshausen, is celebrating its anniversary.
From January 12th, the 16 new episodes will be shown on ARD.

A star leaves the ARD cult series, and more surprises await the fans.

– For ten years, the Wolfratshausen sleuths have been bluffing from one murder case to the next – and there is still no end in sight: the ARD hit series “Hubert without Staller” is entering its anniversary season.
The first episode will be broadcast in mid-January - but a popular character will no longer be there.

Some series just run out over time.
After a few seasons, the writers lose ideas, viewers lose interest, and producers lose patience.
With "Hubert without Staller" it's obviously very different.
Last year, the ninth season of the series flickered about curious murders in and around Wolfratshausen on the screens of the republic - and set a new quota record.
"On average, more than 2.6 million viewers tuned in to the ninth season last year," explains ARD coordinator for the evening program, Frank Beckmann, in a press kit.
This is "the highest reach since the premiere on November 2, 2011".
For Beckmann, the fact that a TV series is experiencing its tenth season is “a real milestone in the fast-moving world of media”.

Most of the main actors are even on board from day one: Christian Tramitz in the role of the grumpy (and eponymous) police superintendent Franz Hubert, Michael Brandner as the now demoted police chief Reimund Girwidz, Paul Sedlmair as the dear but overwhelmed police officer Martin Riedl and Hannes Ringlstetter as the sometimes shady but always helpful Yazid.
His motto is: "I'll do anything".
He will prove that again in the new season: he takes over the Rattlinger bakery, where Hubert and Girwidz regularly take long coffee breaks to escape the dreary everyday life in the Revier.
Most recently, the Bavarian comedy great Monika Gruber ran the regular bakery of Wolfratshausen's TV police officer in her role as Barbara Hansen.
She is no longer part of the anniversary season.

Otherwise, the core team of the series stays together: Katharina Müller-Elmau, as police chief, is annoyed by the unconventional investigative methods used by her people.
Over the table from Dr.
Caroline Fuchs, played by Susu Padotzke, wander 16 new corpses.
Mitsou Jung is the chick of the police station in her role as Christina Bayer.

Every Wednesday at 6:50 p.m. you can watch the team solving all sorts of bizarre murder cases.
It all starts on January 12th with an accident: Hubert and Girwidz end up in a pile of straw bales with “Wagen 3” (which has been extremely rickety since season 1) – the brakes have failed.
You will find yourself off the road in the best of company: On the meadow lies a motorcyclist who is involved in a serious accident because someone cut through the brake hoses: an attempted murder - and thus the 149th case for the Wolfratshausen TV station.
