Dozens of Palestinians, during a solidarity stand in Jenin in the West Bank today, called on the international community, human rights and human rights organizations and the free people of the world to intervene and pressure the Israeli occupation to release the prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid, who has cancer, and to retrieve the bodies of the martyrs held by the occupation.

According to Wafa Agency, the participants in the sit-in organized by the Prisoner’s Club and the families of martyrs and liberated prisoners in the center of Jenin denounced the international silence regarding the systematic aggression against the Palestinian people by the occupation, calling for the immediate release of all prisoners, especially patients who suffer from medical negligence inside the occupation prisons.

The participants indicated that the file to retrieve the bodies of the martyrs held by the occupation will remain open until the families of the martyrs receive the bodies of their children and are buried in a manner worthy of the martyrs of Palestine.

The cities of the West Bank witness daily solidarity vigils in support of the prisoner Abu Hamid, who has been detained since 2002, calling for his immediate release, especially after his health recently deteriorated and he fell into a coma and was placed on a respirator as a result of his suffering from the consequences of the operation to remove a cancerous tumor in the lungs.
