Authorities are investigating the death of a 38-year-old Mexican migrant who was detained by federal Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents in Otay Mesa, California, when he allegedly crossed the border illegally.
The man died at the Otay Mesa Port of Entry shortly before 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the San Diego Police Department.
