Eight years since they released a joint film.
The wait for the fans of the trio formed by Didier Bourdon, Pascal Légitimus and Bernard Campan is about to end.
The latter confirmed to
BFM TV
that “
yes, there is a film with the Unknowns in the pipeline.
(…) We were waiting for it to be safe to talk about it.
But apparently it bothered Pascal and Didier, so they talked about it first.

The Unknowns have not released a joint feature film since
The Three Brothers: The Return
in 2014. The film, poorly received by critics, had been a success in theaters, accumulating more than two million admissions.
In addition to this return to film sets, the trio could appear in a television show, but also on stage, twenty-nine years after their last show.
Bernard Campan on his positions
The prospect of a return to the boards seems to excite Pascal Légitimus and Didier Bourdon. The latter expressed at the beginning of the week on
RTL
his desire to
“take the old sketches and revisit them”
. He even gave a precise schedule of discussions between the three actors.
“Around the table, we would find other ideas. But we are no longer 30 years old. We can make a rather original scenography. See you soon, on my birthday, at the end of the month, the 22nd [January].

An enthusiasm far from being shared by Bernard Campan.
“Go back on stage, or do a show, sketches… That, I leave his words to him, because I prefer not to go back there”,
explains the actor to BFM, who recognizes that “
of the three, it is notorious, I am the one who most resists reunions.

The peril of a failed comeback haunts many artists, especially the 63-year-old actor and director.
The date of January 22 seems crucial for the sequence of events.
“
We are going to talk about it, quite simply, I hold my line.
It scares me, today, to return, the Unknowns on stage, after 30 years of absence, with what we are, our ages, our physique.
I would have the impression that we are a caricature of what we have been.
I would be a little afraid of that and I'm very reluctant about it
,” concludes Bernard Campan.
Case to follow.
