Brandenburg ahead of the special route for 2G plus

Brandenburg is likely to face a special path for the 2G plus rule in restaurants.
The CDU parliamentary group discussed a compromise proposal from the SPD and the Greens on Friday.
According to information from the German Press Agency, it provides that the regulation would not apply if the warning light is green.

2G plus - with a test or booster vaccination - should only be introduced above a number of new hospital patients per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days of 3 and a proportion of Covid 19 patients in intensive care beds of over 10 percent.
The CDU parliamentary group had warned that 2G plus was a threat to the existence of many restaurateurs.
The cabinet wanted to decide on the new regulation on Friday.
