During the operation, the police arrested a 58-year-old local man and a 40-year-old Filipino woman on charges of "trafficking dangerous drugs", and seized over 154 kilograms of various types of drugs, including 96 kilograms of heroin, 25 kilograms of marijuana and 34 kilograms of cannabis. After that, the detectives escorted him back to his unit for search, and seized 42 kilograms of heroin, 25 kilograms of marijuana and 5 kilograms of ketamine, and seized HK$1 million in cash.

Police said the drugs were believed to be related to a warehouse in Western District, and a truck was also called to deliver the drugs to a mini-storage in North Point.

Detectives went to the warehouse in Western District to investigate and found 360 bags of cocoa beans weighing 50 kilograms, as well as 21 boxes of protein powder and chocolate powder, but no other drugs were found.

The police pointed out that a 44-year-old Chinese man is currently wanted, and he is believed to be a key member of a drug syndicate, and he cannot rule out further arrests.

Chen Jiangming continued to point out that the drugs seized this time were divided into small pieces and squares, each weighing about 150 grams. It is believed that it is convenient to mix the drugs into cocoa beans for disguise. The batch of cocoa beans was shipped from Ecuador to Hong Kong by cargo ship at the end of December last year. , and then transferred to the storage warehouse in Western District.
