Five soldiers from the Home Front Command's "Kedem" battalion were sent to the post in the Etzion sector, suffering from chills and muscle aches.

Five fighters from the Home Front Command's rescue brigade fell ill last week in Corona - and were sent by their commanders to maintain an operational post in Judea and Samaria.

All this, even though the soldiers complained that they were not feeling well, and were suffering from chills and muscle aches.

From the details obtained by "Israel Today", it appears that last Tuesday, five corona patients were discovered in one of the companies' "Kedem" battalion of the Home Front Command, who were sent for recovery in their homes.

The next day, five more soldiers from the same company were assigned to Corona, but these had already been sent to one of the outposts in the Etzion Regional Brigade in Judea and Samaria, with the aim of manning it.

Although the battalion separated the soldiers who had been verified from soldiers who had not contracted the virus, but as stated, even though they felt unwell, he placed them in an operational post.

The commanders also made it clear to the soldiers that if they refused an order to keep the post while verified and did not feel well, they would be tried for refusing an order.

The IDF, on the other hand, claimed that the verified soldiers were asymptomatic, and that their isolation at the post complied with military orders updated in recent days, allowing commanders to leave verified soldiers in Corona in military isolation. Even if all that is required of them is to maintain the SG at the outpost, especially when the recent operational situation in Judea and Samaria is not calm.

The IDF also explained that the decision to place the corona patients in the outpost was made, among other things, out of fear of the commanders that the battalion's operational competence was harmed due to the large number of corona patients. Move the fighters out of the post claiming it is a complex procedure.

However, other fighters will come to the outpost to keep in place and those who have fallen ill will go into isolation inside the outpost.

The IDF Spokesman's response: "The case in question is known to the commanders and was handled in accordance with the updated corona guidelines of the Operations Division.

However, due to their medical condition, it was decided that the verified soldiers would remain in the designated isolation facility assigned to them at the Shdema outpost but would cease performing the guarding mission until the end of the isolation period. "
