Green parliamentary group leader Andreas Schwarz has sharply criticized the FDP parliamentary group for its no to compulsory vaccination. FDP faction leader Hans-Ulrich Rülke made a fool of himself as an opinion leader, Schwarz said on Friday in Stuttgart. Schwarz called it "insane and absurd". The "government blood" may have passed to FDP federal leader Christian Lindner, said Schwarz with a view to the federal government, where the FDP governs with the SPD and the Greens.

Stuttgart – The blood of the government was certainly not transferred to Rülke.

"Mr. Rülke continues to sulk in the opposition corner," said Schwarz.

At its parliamentary meeting this week, the FDP parliamentary group unanimously spoke out against the introduction of compulsory vaccination.

One is convinced that this is currently not feasible, said parliamentary group leader Rülke on Thursday.

The Bundestag should decide on a general vaccination requirement in a free vote without party discipline.
