Highest incidence in all of Bavaria: Erding district again at the top – lockdown rule suspended

The district of Erding near Munich is at the top of Bavaria on Friday when it comes to the number of infections.
The incidence is well above the national average.
Erding
- The district of Erding reported a seven-day incidence* of 753.8 on Friday - making the district near Munich the absolute leader in the Free State.
It is closely followed by the Swabian district of Lindau (748) and the urban area of the state capital Munich (718.2).
As on the previous days, Erding clearly exceeds the incidence of the Free State of 473.1.

Within 24 hours, 165 new infections with the virus were reported in Erding, as well as two more deaths.
The average number of cases over the past seven days is 558 infections per 100,000 inhabitants.

No new lockdown in Erding: Regulation suspended
The district office points out innovations in the Infection Protection Ordinance.
With the booster vaccination, the 2G-plus regulation immediately eliminates the obligation to test.
Minors who are regularly tested at school are still exempt from the 2G rule in hotels, restaurants and sports.
Quarantine and isolation are limited to ten days.
Free testing is permitted from the seventh day if there are no symptoms.
Pupils and daycare children who have been classified as contact persons can test themselves free after five days.
However, there is no threat of another lockdown in Erding.
The hotspot regulation from an incidence* of 1000 was suspended on Thursday, as Health Minister Klaus Holetschek announced.
