A boat caught fire in Kwun Tong.
At about 0:30 this morning (15th), a yacht caught fire on the sea surface of the Kwun Tong Typhoon Shelter, about 50 meters away from the Kwun Tong Waterfront Garden. Black smoke swept into the air.
As there were many boats moored nearby, many people hurriedly called the police, and some people dragged their throats and shot water to help put out the fire.
Firefighters rushed to use a throat to put out the fire, and put out the fire at 2 am. After investigation, it was not ruled out that a laptop on board was short-circuited and burned the sheets, causing the fire.
Fortunately, no one was injured or needed to be evacuated during the fire. There was a 49-year-old foreign man on board at the time of the incident. He escaped in time and was safe. It is reported that he was a friend of the owner, and the police contacted the owner, who was not on board at the time.
