The village rockers from Lower Franconia took a long way for their fans.
They even set a record at their concert in Brazil.
Oberaurach - Several thousand kilometers separated the village rockers Philipp, Tobias and Markus Thomann from their Lower Franconian home of Kirchaich in the municipality of Oberaurach in the Lower Franconian district of Haßberge.
For their fans, they made their way to Entre Rios in Brazil to perform.
Village rockers give record concert in South America
The three brothers gave several concerts in Entre Rios. But one of them must have stuck in your memory. Because, as the village rockers write on their Facebook page, a new record was even set at a concert. "With over 1,500 tractors, there has never been more tractors anywhere in the world gathered in one place," the site says. They also thanked their fans on Facebook: "It was amazing how you celebrated with us and how confident you were in the text – we didn't expect that in a dream!"
As the MDR reports, there is a large German-speaking community in Entre Rios.
According to reports, more than 2,000 German-speaking Danube Swabians settled there in the 1950s.
Many descendants of these emigrants therefore did not miss the concert of the rocking Lower Franconia.
Corona-compliant performance in Brazil: Tractor concert in XXL
Because it was not possible to perform last year due to Corona, the village rockers came up with something that they are now also implementing in Entre Rios: tractor concerts.
The concept is simple: the audience drives up in their own tractor, parks it and can listen to the concert without coming into contact with others.
20,000 tractors are said to have pulled up at more than 100 concerts in German-speaking countries.
