Russia today renewed its demand from the West for a written response to its proposals during the negotiations regarding security guarantees with the United States and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) recently.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a statement today, quoted by the RIA Novosti news agency, that President Vladimir Putin has been informed of the results of Russia's negotiations with the United States and its allies, and Moscow is currently waiting from the other side for written formulas from its opponents, after which there will be a final analysis.
Peskov had announced yesterday that the recent talks with the United States and NATO on security guarantees were "not successful", pointing out that Moscow is waiting for written answers from the West in the coming days about the outcome of those talks.
It should be noted that during the past few days, Russia held intensive talks in Geneva and Brussels with America on the one hand and NATO on the other on the file of security guarantees demanded by Moscow.
