India recorded 2,64,202 new infections and 315 deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
According to the latest data from the World Meter website, the total number of HIV infections in the country has reached 36,582,129, with 48,350 deaths.
India still ranks second in terms of the number of HIV infections in the world after the United States and the third in terms of the number of deaths after the United States and Brazil.
In turn, Germany recorded 92,223 new infections and 286 deaths from the virus, which is the largest number in one day since the beginning of the pandemic, with the spread of the highly contagious Omicron mutant in the country.
Data from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases showed that the total number of infections in Germany so far has reached 7,835,451, while the total number of deaths has reached 115,337.
In China, the National Health Committee announced that 201 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded yesterday, up from 190 the previous day, adding that 143 of the new infections were transmitted locally, compared to 124 the day before.
The committee stated that, as of yesterday, the Chinese mainland had recorded 104,580 confirmed cases, and no new deaths were recorded, so that the number remained constant at 4,636 cases.
