Today, the CSTO peacekeepers from Armenia and Tajikistan left Kazakhstan aboard four Russian military transport planes.

Three planes took off from Almata airport, carrying the Armenian force, while one plane transported the Tajik group to its country.

While the Kyrgyz military group had returned earlier in the day to its country by land.

Units from Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan participated in the peacekeeping forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) to calm the tense situation in Kazakhstan, and these forces successfully protected strategically important facilities.
