Application of research skill, development of critical thinking, reading and writing at academic level and even quantum engineering and cyber field. While the vast majority of Israeli students study the basic subjects, the students of the Center for Future Scientists study different and varied subjects at the academic level and conduct research in laboratories. If you have not yet heard of the Future Scientists Center of the Maimonides Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the Gifted and Talented Students Division, you should keep reading.

Registration for the programs of the Ministry of Education and the Center for Future Scientists of the Maimonides Foundation - Alpha, Odyssey and Idea - is in progress and will end on 16/1/22. For details and registration >>

The center offers students three programs for high school students, which help them integrate into the world of academic research - Odyssey (academic studies in the sciences), Alpha (research in the fields of science) and Idea (research in the humanities).

And what do they think about studying at the center? The answers are right down here.

Tal Israeli, 17.5, Alpha Program

Hayosh, I am Tal Israeli, a 12th grade student, 17.5 years old from Rehovot and I study in the alpha program at the Weizmann Institute of Science. At school I increase computer and physics and of course I studied 5 units in biology.

In my free time I like to meet friends And of course also to watch videos of cute dogs on Instagram! No one knows that I am a die-hard fan of Shlomo Artzi. Just about everyone knows it. "Today I am engaged in further research accompanied by my supervisor and hope to continue researching the future on the science front with curiosity and great satisfaction. Sounds interesting? Could this opportunity become the most amazing thing you will do in high school! Dream of being the scientists of the future, join me in the Alpha program."

Guy Breyer, 16, Odyssey show

Hello, my name is Guy Briar, I am 16 years old from Jerusalem and I am a student in the Odyssey program at the Hebrew University. In my free time I participate in two youth movements - patrols and garden guards. Origami and guitar playing. I joined Odyssey because I am particularly interested in math and physics and wanted to enrich my knowledge in these areas. Odyssey provided my curiosity, and allowed me to learn what interests me, at a pace that suits me. Along the way I also met people with similar interests to mine and developed skills. "My learning. If you also want to explore, learn and meet new people, then you are suitable for the program. Join me and the future scientists in the Odyssey program."

There are a number of fields that I really like and enjoy working in - piano playing, sports and ... mathematics.

One of my great loves is playing the piano.

It started when I was 9, I fell in love with music and since then I play every day.

Today I participate in programs for outstanding pianists, winning prestigious piano competitions.

In addition I compose, when I got to play my works around the globe, I also had the privilege of playing in a fundraising campaign in the US for the benefit of integrating underprivileged populations. My second love is playing sports. I practice calisthnics and street workout every day and enjoy every moment. About the Odyssey program, it was clear to me that I would like to take part in it. To integrate in academic studies in the sciences already in high school! "Interested in you? Join me and the scientists of the future and sign up for the Odyssey program."

I have met a lot of new friends and I am in an environment where there are teenagers who are interested in what I am interested in and love. Academically, I take courses at an academic level that help me understand what topics interest me and advance me to my goal Like a debate, which gives us tools for life like standing in front of an audience and expressing ourselves correctly. The studies take place in a completely different environment than at school - everything is much more challenging, immersive and fascinating. So if you like challenges, "The Odyssey program is just for you. Join us."
