During the past 24 hours, all governorates witnessed rainfall of varying intensity, the highest of which was 88 mm, in Drikish, Tartous.

According to the bulletin of the rain seeding project issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, the percentage of precipitation in the governorates of Damascus and its countryside was distributed between: “37 mm in Madaya, 30 mm in Sergaya, 25 mm in al-Haramoun, 22 mm in Maysaloon, 17 mm in al-Zabadani, 15 mm in al-Kiswa, 14 mm in Jadida al-Shaibani, Yabroud, al-Qatifah 4 mm, al-Mushrifa and al-Jrajir.” 3 mm.

In Raqqa governorate, it was recorded in “Bir Muhaisen 8 mm, Raqqa 5 mm, Ain Issa and Mansoura 3 mm, Tal Abyad and Jdeidet Khabur 2 mm.” and Al-Darbasiyah 4 mm,” and 2 mm were recorded in the city of Deir Ezzor.

The Ministry of Transport called on drivers yesterday evening to be vigilant, avoid excessive speed, and inspect the technical condition of the vehicle due to the prevailing weather conditions, especially the formation of ice, frost, fog or rain on some roads at night and in the early morning hours.
