With crowdfunding, SV Wörth is calling for people to close the funding gap in the spectator grandstand project.

At least 10,000 euros are required.

Wörth

– Joining forces for the new spectator grandstand: The Wörth sports club would like to implement this ambitious large-scale project next autumn. The course for this has already been set. With generous support from the community, a lot of personal contribution and a loan, the Wörther sports club wants to master the measure. In order to raise a little more money, the activists have now also started crowdfunding.

The covered grandstand with 80 seats and a standing area is to replace the previous seating area at the main sports ground.

The entire project will cost around 145,000 euros.

The municipal council has already decided to grant a 50 percent subsidy with a cap of 72,500 euros.

In addition, the municipality agreed to guarantee a loan from SV Wörth in the amount of 40,000 euros.

The association wants to bring in 18,500 euros of its own contribution.

It is now hoped that further funding will be raised through crowdfunding at VR-Bank Erding, i.e. as group financing where everyone can get involved.

"With crowdfunding, we want to reduce the funding gap by at least 10,000 euros," said Deputy Chairman Robert Maier, outlining the objective.

The crowdfunding runs until February 28th.

The grandstand is to be erected with own efforts and local craftsmen.

The veteran of SV Wörth, the technical director Wolfgang Engel, has drawn up a detailed plan for this.

The construction will benefit all local sports enthusiasts, and the grandstand will upgrade the entire sports facility.

"The target group are all Wörther citizens and all spectators - parents, grandparents, children as well as fans and our guests," emphasizes Maier.

"The goal is to be able to enthusiastically watch the football games of all teams in all weather conditions, comfortably, dry and protected from the sun."

From five euros, the project can be supported via crowdfunding.

Every donation brings in 20 percent more, explains Maier.

This means that, for example, if you donate 100 euros, the VR-Bank will contribute another 20 euros.

Receipts will be issued for donations.

Anyone who donates 50 euros or more gets one free entry to the home game of the 1st team of SV Wört.

"As a thank you, and also to see what has been invested in," says the second chairman.

The crowdfunding will only be used for the grandstand construction.

"We would like to see lively participation and a large number of donations," said Maier, promoting the association's project.
