In view of the rapidly increasing corona numbers, the first districts in Upper Bavaria have decided to ban "corona walks".
Munich – Mostly on Monday evening people move through the inner cities and communities – the demonstrators who rebel against the Corona regulations.
In more and more districts, however, they are being banned by general decree: The districts of Landsberg/Lech, Starnberg and Berchtesgadener Land have restricted public gatherings in the open air in a “general decree” or even banned them altogether.
Starnberg district will ban "corona walks" from next Monday
In the district of Starnberg, next Monday in Starnberg, Gauting, Gilching and Herrsching * "all stationary or moving assemblies in connection with protests against corona measures" are prohibited if they are not previously registered in due time.
Both organizing and participating in the meetings are prohibited, explained District Administrator Stefan Frey.
The ban applies on Monday from midnight to midnight.
“We can only contain our galloping infection numbers if such meetings also have a reasonable framework.” This can only succeed if you have cooperative meeting leaders and not organizers who simply let the meetings run free.
The district of Landsberg/Lech also banned walks in Landsberg and Dießen on Monday between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. in a general decree.
Weilheim-Schongau district: the district office does not want to restrict corona protests
The Weilheim-Schongau district, however, sees no need for action.
The districts of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Erding also allowed the “walks”.
Fürstenfeldbruck: Mayors appeal to cohesion and solidarity
In Fürstenfeldbruck, the mayors have started a petition for the solidarity of the citizens.
They want to distance themselves from the denial of the risk of death from the pandemic and the condemnation of politics as a "corona dictatorship".
All citizens were called upon to stand together in solidarity to get through the pandemic as lightly as possible.
