In the rear-view mirror, they saw that in the VW behind them, a toddler was sitting on the passenger's lap and another child was flexing between the seats.
Shortly before Hinterstallau, the VW overtook the civilian emergency vehicle - despite the ban on overtaking and a solid line.

On Blomberg, the police stopped the driver - "and the full extent of the offenses committed became visible," the police wrote in their statement.

The police prohibited further travel.
The mother was allowed to pick up the children at Blomberg.
