The Iraqi Ministry of Health recorded 5 deaths and 2,477 new infections with the Corona virus during the past 24 hours, in a marked decrease in the number of infections and deaths from the previous days.
The ministry stated in a statement today that the total number of deaths from the virus since its spread in the country amounted to 24,242 cases, and 211,683 infections, while the number of those who recovered reached 2069,459 people.
Yesterday, Iraq recorded 8 deaths and 3,266 cases of the virus.
