However, the Observatory expects that another shareholder, the northern monsoon, will affect southern China in the early to mid-week next week. It is expected to be cloudy on Monday with a few rain patches and cool at night; while Tuesday will be cloudy with a few rain patches at first, cool in the morning and temperatures between 15 to 18 degrees.

At that time, many districts in the New Territories, including Tai Po, Shatin and Tuen Mun, will be cooled to 13 to 14 degrees, and Ta Kwu Ling may even be as low as 12 degrees.
