Thousands of people demonstrated in the Austrian capital, Vienna, today, against the mandatory decision to vaccinate with the Corona vaccine, imposed by the authorities.
Reuters reported that the participants in the demonstrations in central Vienna condemned the decisions taken by the Austrian authorities related to the mandatory vaccination of the Corona vaccine, chanting and demanding “the departure of the government.”
Parliament is scheduled to vote next week on a mandatory vaccination decision, which has caused mixed reactions in the country with the increase in cases of the Corona virus.
An opinion poll conducted by the Austrian (Profile) magazine showed that 51 percent of those surveyed oppose making vaccination mandatory as of next month, while 45 percent support mandatory vaccination.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic in the country, Austria has recorded 1,428,170 cases of coronavirus and 13,915 deaths from it.
