The Al-Asi gin in Hama has completed its beloved cotton ginning operations for the current season, which were imported from the farmers of the Raqqa and Deir Ezzor governorates, amounting to 3220 tons.
The director of the gin, Yasser Halabiya, told SANA reporter that the ginning operations produced 1,111 tons of ginned cotton bales, 1900 tons of industrial seeds, and the rest was dust and secondary waste, indicating that the ginning operations were carried out through one shift and a ginning card ranged between 50 and 60 tons per day.
Halabiya pointed out that 473 tons of ginned cotton bales were shipped to spinning and weaving companies in various governorates, provided that the industrial seeds would be shipped to public and private oil companies during the coming period, noting that the ginning operations were carried out well and within the plan established for the current season.
And the Al-Asi gin in Hama received 3,889 tons of the beloved cotton last season, which was completely smelted.
