The railway team defeated Mahrada with a score of 78-65 points in the match that brought them together on the grounds of Mahrada Sports Hall in the last round of the first-leg of the northern group of the second division of basketball for the men's category.
This is the third win in a row for the railway team, which maintained its lead in the standings, while Mahrada suffered his second loss, compared to a single victory over Yarmouk in the first round.
The northern group includes the railway clubs, Al-Orouba, Mhardeh, and Al-Yarmouk. They play back and forth, with the first and second of them qualifying for the second round.
