A 33-year-old put the lives of several people at risk on Saturday night.

Intoxicated with alcohol, he rammed two vehicles off the A8m and on the Mittlerer Ring.

Unterhaching

– Shortly before midnight, the 33-year-old from Munich drove onto the A8 towards Munich at the Unterhaching junction. He raced across the road in his X5 at excessive speed. As it turned out later, according to the police, he had more than two parts per thousand alcohol in his blood. He immediately switched to the left lane, even though a Mercedes minibus was driving there. The Mercedes driver was forced to slam on the brakes but was unable to avoid a collision. Fortunately, all three occupants suffered only minor injuries. The BMW driver just kept going, not caring about the accident.

At the Ramersdorf end of the autobahn, the next collision occurred in the intersection area of the Mittlerer Ring.

Probably due to his high speed, the BMW driver left the road and crashed head-on into a traffic light pole, which he swept away.

In the intersection, the BMW collided with the Ford of a 53-year-old.

He too was slightly injured.
