Not just the Coliseum and the Pantheon: The sky has opened and Italy allows Israeli tourists who have completed the vaccination process to enter without the need for isolation • Michal Millard, an Israeli who runs culinary tours in the Italian capital reveals the places many of you probably do not know so much

For two years now we have been trying to get used to trips alongside a plague.

One of the most visited cities in the world and beloved by the Israeli tourist is Rome, which changed its face during the Corona period - fewer gatherings and more good food and entertainment in the open air.

Michal Millard, an Israeli who lives in Italy and runs food tours in the Italian capital, gives us an order - where to travel in Rome in the current period, which includes in addition to Corona, also a cold winter to which you also need to make adjustments and know how to travel correctly

So what do you do in Rome when it's cold outside next to the Corona restrictions?

  • Villa Borghese - one of the most beautiful and large green lungs in the city and it is located right in the center.

A few minutes from the Spanish Steps and you are in a green lung, with a lake and a spectacular view of Rome.

You can ride your bike, on foot and the lazy ones among us can rent a scooter for a few hours.

You can go on a picnic or just take a walk and enjoy a sunny half day even when it is cold.

  • Orange Garden - A beautiful garden not far from the Colosseum with a spectacular view of Rome.

You can sit with a bottle of wine at sunset and enjoy a romantic and cool evening.

  • Trastevere neighborhood - a chic, cool and young neighborhood where you can sit in each of the local bars and restaurants that offer outdoor seating in the open air next to a heating pad and a quail - for example Mimi & coco or the famous tonnarello restaurant.

  • If you fancy a cool cocktail bar with outdoor seating with a spectacular view of the Temple of Adriano you can sit in one of the chic places in Rome saloto 42

  • Not far from the Pantheon, the Florentine branch of antico vinaio opened for me - a place full of a huge kingdom of delicious and spoiled sandwiches.

Equip yourself with a sandwich and walk towards the Pantheon or Piazza Navona and sit on one of the benches or stairs in the area.

And enjoy being a liar, good food, culture and especially open air.

  • The Jewish ghetto area is full of restaurants and you can also find quite a few kosher restaurants.

You can sit in the open air next to a glass of wine and a cheese platter in one of the famous delicacies in the city beppe e I suoi formaggi

  • Campagna amica market, a local farmers market that is active only on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 to 15:00.

Not far from the Jewish ghetto you can purchase raw materials to bring gifts to Israel and even sit in the outdoor yard and eat from the raw materials you bought right now.

  • Behind Pizza Navona between the alleys is the mythological bar del figo you can sit outside under a heating mushroom and enjoy quality wine, beers, cocktails and wonderful food.

If you are lucky, you can enjoy one of the occasional brunches.

  • In the Campo di Fiori area there is a wonderful restaurant called piano strada in the center of which is a large courtyard and on winter days covered and heated, the restaurant is open in the evenings.

Most restaurants offer outdoor seating alongside heating and local Roman food.

  • In Israel and abroad - the most worthwhile promotions in tourism
