A bizarre murder occurred in Cheung Chau. A couple living together recently rented a flat in Dongdi Xiaozhu. At 7 am this morning, the man got up and saw his girlfriend unconscious in the room. The ambulance arrived at the scene and confirmed that she was dead. There were suspicious wounds, and the cause of death was confusing, and was handed over to the Marine Police Serious Crime Unit. Initially, it was believed that the case was suspicious, and it was treated as a murder case.
The female deceased's surname is Huang (55 years old) and her boyfriend's surname is Li (43 years old). It is known that the two were originally scheduled to check out yesterday, but someone suddenly changed their original intention and asked to stay for an extra day.
At the scene, the police found a wound on Huang's neck, suspected of having been strangled, and handed it over to the Marine Police Serious Crime Squad for follow-up.
After a preliminary investigation, it is believed that there is another inside story in the case, and it is treated as a murder case.
According to the police, Li Nan said that he and the deceased woman were cohabiting couples. They went to Cheung Chau together recently and rented a small building in Dongdi. During his sleep last night, he suddenly heard the woman yelling, but he didn’t think he wanted to continue sleeping. When she woke up in the morning, she was shocked and found her girlfriend unconscious on the bed, so she called the police.
Police will arrange an autopsy to determine the wounds on the deceased's neck and the time of death.
