Hans Benno Suttner replaces Uschi Disl on the Dietramszell municipal council.

He was sworn in at the most recent meeting.

Dietramszell - "I swear to be obedient to the law and to fulfill my official duties conscientiously." Hans Benno Suttner solemnly spoke the words of the oath of office at the municipal council meeting.

The situation was not completely unknown to him: the CSU man from Untermühltal was already on the municipal council during the past term of office from 2014 to 2020.

After a break of almost two years, he has now moved up as a new member because his party colleague Uschi Disl left the committee for personal reasons at the turn of the year.

In the 2020 local council election, he received 44 fewer votes than Disl, making him the first list successor to the CSU parliamentary group.

New meeting place

The meeting place – the rectory – was new for all council members.

Due to the pandemic, all meetings of the current term of office have so far taken place in the gymnasium of the elementary and middle school.

According to Mayor Josef Hauser (free voters), however, the councilors had repeatedly complained about the poor acoustics and the cold there.

At the suggestion of Bernhard Fuchs (free voters) and after consultation with Dean Thomas Neuberger, the committee therefore moved to the parish hall.

"The heating and acoustics are definitely better here," said the head of the town hall.
