A traffic accident occurred in Ma On Shan.
At about 10:23 p.m. today (16th), a red Toyota private car was driving along the central line of the Ma On Shan Bypass towards Sha Tin.
When approaching the position near the big puddle, it lost control and hit the engineering water horse on the right side. The private car then reversed, with all four wheels upside down, and the front of the car was severely damaged. The front of the taxi was slightly damaged.
After the accident, the Toyota driver was trapped inside the car for a while, but fortunately only had his head scratched, he climbed out of the car on his own, and was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin by ambulance for treatment.
According to the taxi driver involved, the Toyota driver tried to "crawl his head" at the time of the incident, but unexpectedly deviates from the original lane, crossed the right lane and hit a water horse, causing an accident.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
