Bad Tölz – Jungmayrplatz in the Gries district of Tölz has recently been open to traffic again in one direction.
The mayor reports on the construction progress.
As reported, the redevelopment of the district began there in the summer of 2021.
In the Gries district of Tölz, the old pavement was removed and numerous lines were laid underground.
In addition, the new paving should be started before the onset of winter.
As Mayor Ingo Mehner (CSU) explained at the last city council meeting in the old year at the request of Josef Steigenberger (CSU), the delivery of the granite stones would have been delayed.
Due to a lack of paper, the construction site management could not appear either.
In order to make access to the houses and shops easier, the road was tarred for a short time and released in one direction.
The remaining paving work in the direction of Fritzplatz, where the Nagelschmied fountain has also been removed in the meantime, is to take place in the next few months.
There are also delays in the installation of the new parking ticket machines in the upper Marktstrasse.
However, according to Mehner, they should be delivered by the end of January.
