The branch of the General Organization for Feed in Aleppo has rehabilitated and repaired the Tal Balat fodder plant at a value of 1.442 million Syrian pounds due to the damage it sustained and acts of sabotage due to terrorism, to produce 30 tons of fodder per hour.
The director of the Foundation’s branch, Engineer Mahmoud Darwish, told SANA reporter that the Foundation had contracted with the Military Housing Corporation to rehabilitate and operate the plant to produce various types of fodder for livestock in all its sectors, including cows, sheep and poultry. And the production of 4,500 tons of feed.
He explained that the rehabilitation work was carried out with national expertise, where the annual production of fodder in the factory is estimated at 100,000 tons to secure fodder for livestock in the governorates of Aleppo, Idlib, Hama, Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor. On feed courses in Aleppo governorate at a rate of 1200 tons to secure ready-made fodder for livestock, which will reflect positively on reducing production costs for the poultry sector and lowering prices.
SANA’s camera accompanies the production processes in the laboratory, where the engineer, Mahmoud Al-Habib, the director of the laboratory, explained that the production goes through five stages. The first is the reception of the raw materials, where they are supplied to the reception pits and transported through conveyors and chain hoists to the large cells, and the second is in which the coarse materials of corn and barley are crushed, then the mixing stage The placement and the formation of the materials that make up the required fodder mixture.
Then, according to the granule, the feed mixture is transferred to the capsule cells, cooling, mixing the mixed materials with water vapor, and entering the machines to form the required capsule, after which the final cooling and transfer are done, and they are packed with bags or transported in cars.
