Today, the quantity of citruses that the Syrian Trade Corporation has rented from farmers in Lattakia Governorate has reached more than one hundred tons of various varieties, as part of the follow-up to the implementation of the government plan to procure and market citrus from farmers in the Syrian coast.

Sami Halil, director of the Syrian branch of trade, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the institution has rented today more than 100 tons from four regions in the governorate, “Latakia, Al-Madina, Jableh, Al-Qardaha and Al-Haffah,” and it has been marketed to the governorates of As-Suwayda, Damascus and Hama.

Hillel explained that the total amount of citrus that has been imported since the start of the implementation of the plan in this regard amounted to about 350 tons of various types, pointing out that the branch of the Corporation continues to distribute about 4000 field boxes with a capacity of 20 kg per box on a daily basis to farmers in the mentioned areas with the aim of filling them with the crop to be reached Purchased and marketed by the Corporation to various governorates.

The Syrian Trade had set the prices that it pays to the farmers during this week, according to the following: The Abu Surra brand is packed with boxes from the establishment. The price of one kilogram ranges between “300, 500 and 650” Syrian pounds, according to the degree of quality, while it is packed with cork boxes by the farmer, and the price of a kilogram varies. Each one ranges between “400, 600 and 750” pounds, depending on the quality, and one kilo of farms filled with nylon bags ranges between “350 and 550” pounds.

As for the municipal sour variety, Syrian Trade has set its price at “900” Syrian Pounds per kilo filled with boxes from the Foundation, at “1000” Pounds per kilogram for the cork boxes packed by the farmer, and the price of the American sour variety “700” Pounds filled with the Foundation’s boxes and at “800” “800” Pounds per kilo for the cork boxes from Before the farmer, the first toast mandala was classified at a price of “1000” lira per kilo in the foundation boxes and “1100” lira for stuffed with cork boxes by the farmer.
