Coinciding with the beginning of the half-day holiday, the "Children's Cinema" event was launched in the halls of Al-Kindi in Damascus and the governorates, organized by the General Film Organization, during which 14 films of the latest productions of international cinema in the field of animation were shown, at a rate of two films per day.
The demonstration, which was titled (The Holiday Break Is Interesting), screened on its first day the Russian movie (The Big Journey), which tells about the bear (Mick) and the hare (Oscar) trying to return a baby panda to its real, legal parents after a stork accidentally handed it to them.
The second screening was for the American movie (Free Birds), where two turkeys travel to the past through a time machine and enter into a conflict with a Turkish clan in order to change the human habit of devouring turkeys on holidays.
