In the past hours, As-Suwayda Governorate witnessed general rain and snowfall of varying intensity in the Dahr al-Jabal area and a number of villages in the eastern and southeastern regions and the southern countryside of the governorate.
Head of the Readiness Department in As-Suwayda Governorate, Hussein Safi, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that all roads in the governorate are passable, except for Dahr al-Jabal road, which is passable with difficulty, indicating that the highest thickness of snow reached about 5 cm in some high areas such as Sala village.
Safi added that snowfall continues in some high areas, and any emergency that may occur as a result of weather conditions will be dealt with, indicating that the bakeries are secured with their flour needs and are fully functional, while no major electrical faults have been recorded on the network.
