A 17-year-old was illegally riding on the running board of a freight train from Magdeburg, putting her life in danger.
The young people had to wait almost an hour on the running board at a speed of 100 on Monday night, said the federal police in Hanover.
When the train stopped at a construction site in Cremlingen near Braunschweig, the girl knocked on the engine driver's door.
Cremlingen – Because of the temperature of minus 3.5 degrees Celsius, the teenager was severely hypothermic, also completely dirty and only had one shoe.
