After several days of quarantine at his vacation spot in Tyrol, District Administrator Robert Niedergesäß (CSU) will return from his home office to his office in the district office on Tuesday, January 18th.

Meanwhile, the incidence in the county is reaching a record high.

District

– District Administrator Robert Niedergesäß was infected with the omicron variant of the corona virus in the immediate family environment during the Christmas vacation.

After the corresponding isolation period, all tests had now shown a negative result, according to the district authority on Monday evening.

Meanwhile, two more deaths related to the pandemic are reported.

The total number rose to 237. The youngest victims were born in the 1920s and 1930s.

They died in November last year.

Corona in the district of Ebersberg: Incidence reaches record levels

The seven-day incidence in the Ebersberg district has now risen to a record 826.7, as reported by the Robert Koch Institute in Berlin.

The value indicates how many people per 100,000 inhabitants have been newly infected with the corona virus in the last seven days.

Next Saturday, January 22nd, a vaccination campaign will take place in the community hall of the community of Frauenneuharting.

Adults can get the protective vaccine from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and children and their parents from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Corona vaccinations will be offered on the same day in Markt Schwaben in the theater hall at Münter Straße 6 in Burgerfeld from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. there is a supporting program for families with children.

You can make an appointment for a vaccination at the vaccination center in Ebersberg or at the Poing branch office at www.impfzentren.bayern.

"In this way, longer waiting times can be safely avoided," says the district office.

The district authority does not expect any changes to the Corona regulations this week.

That's what the Bavarian cabinet decided on Monday.

After the meeting of the Council of Ministers in Munich, it was said that the first thing to do was to wait and see how the infection process developed.
