The Australian medical authorities announced the official approval of the Russian vaccine (Sputnik V) against the Corona virus.
The Australian Therapeutic Goods Authority issued an official statement today on its website, saying, "Two doses of the Russian (Sputnik V) vaccine are enough to be a reason to confirm the vaccination status."
The statement indicated that the Australian authorities have recognized the Russian vaccine and everyone who receives it, especially for the purposes of determining the traveler's vaccination status, stressing that this vaccine provides the required protection and reduces the possibility of transmission of the virus to other people.
In August 2020, the Russian Ministry of Health registered the (Sputnik V) vaccine, which was developed by the Gamalya Center, to become the first registered vaccine against the Corona virus in the world.
