Near a farm that burned down a few months ago, at a place called Drignac, an AFP correspondent saw five gendarmerie vehicles and two unmarked white vans with soldiers in fatigues inside.

Investigators still hope to find the body of the missing nurse, believing that it will provide them with decisive elements to elucidate the case.

Cédric Jubillar, the nurse's husband, was indicted for murder and imprisoned on June 18.

He claims to be innocent, multiplies the requests for release.

The last request was rejected on Friday by the investigating chamber of the Toulouse Court of Appeal.
