Contacts between former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's attorneys and prosecutors' representatives are gaining momentum this morning (Monday), in view of the end of the term of office of Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit at the end of the month.
Yesterday, members of the Netanyahu family, including the wife of former Prime Minister Sarah, and his sons Yair and Avner, along with attorneys Boaz Ben-Zur and Yossi Cohen, met with Netanyahu's associate Natan Eshel to discuss further promotion of the deal.
Along with the contacts, this morning the testimony of Adv. Nir Schwartz, an investigator from Lahav 433 from the Economic Crime Unit who interrogated state witness Nir Hefetz, continues this morning. Netanyahu's defense attorney, address the issue and update the members of the panel in Jerusalem on the legal contacts.
