This is what Éric Ciotti did this weekend.
Coming out of his usual comfort zone and his concerns centered on security and immigration, the deputy (LR) of the Alpes Maritimes issued this tweet:
"According to IMF estimates, after five years of decline and downgrading, the France is now the seventh economic power, overtaken by the United Kingdom and India.

And, to prove the veracity of his figures, Valérie Pécresse's opponent in the primary organized by Les Républicains last month has attached an IMF ranking.
