Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko confirmed that Ukraine is strengthening the military force it has built near the Belarus border.
"Ukraine continues to build up its forces and concentrate units of the National Guard of radical nationalists near the border, and all this is close to the borders of our state and is taking place under the guise of fighting migrants, despite the impossibility of migrants getting there," Lukashenko said, noting that none of the migrants wants to go to Ukraine.
Lukashenko stressed the need to carry out joint Russian-Belarusian military exercises on the western and southern borders of his country.
The Kiev authorities are implementing a security operation near the Belarusian border, claiming that it relates to the migration crisis on the Belarusian-Polish border, and mobilizes about 10 thousand soldiers for this.
