Presidential: Le Pen is less "a danger to democracy" than Zemmour, according to a poll

According to the annual barometer on the image of the National Rally, Eric Zemmour's campaign seems to demonize Marine Le Pen.

According to the annual barometer of the image of the National Rally, commissioned by Franceinfo and Le Monde, 50% of French people questioned consider Marine Le Pen as "a danger to democracy".

While 62% of them consider this to be the case for Éric Zemmour.

1016 adults were interviewed for this survey.

The candidate is also considered a symbol of a “nationalist and xenophobic extreme right” by 40% of the French people questioned, against 64% for the Reconquest candidate.

47% think that there are “too many immigrants in France”

Only 8% of respondents prefer Eric Zemmour's victory, against 21% for Marine Le Pen.

Only 29% of French people see the latter as president, against 8% for the former journalist who has become a far-right presidential candidate.

On the other hand, still according to this barometer, 63% of French people say they have never voted or intend to vote for the National Rally or the National Front.

While 10% are considering it.

Among those polled who have already voted for the RN, 13% are ready to do so again while 4% will not do so again.

Are there “too many immigrants in France”?

47% of respondents think so (this is one point more than in May 2021) and 39% consider that "we no longer really feel at home" in the country.
